Brownstown and Killicomaine Community Centres

Description:

Refurbishment and extension of two existing community centres to provide modern and flexible state-of-the-art facilities to better suit the needs of the local community, including the demolition of existing structures, refurbishment of existing building and extensions to provide community accommodation: reception areas, dedicated childcare space, changing facilities, meeting and training rooms, kitchen facilities, break-out areas, main halls, toilets etc.

Externally, access roads and car parks were upgraded and extended and a children’s play area and MUGA pitch was constructed at Killicomaine.

Included initial survey of each building together with a report and recommendations on retention of services
