Muckamore Abbey Hospital - New Assessment & Forensic Units

Provision of full services for various works on the Muckamore Abbey Hospital Site carried out over 3 phases.
Given the nature of the residents all design had to be based on anti-ligature parameters and the works included
the construction of a mock up bedroom prior to main construction commencing.
All 3 Phases of this project are being carried out on a performance related partnering framework agreement.
Phase 1: Provision of two new hospital buildings to house forensic and assessment units, incorporating 58 en-suite bedrooms.

Phase 2: Provision of a new hospital building to house challenging behaviour and continuing mental illness units incorporating 33 bedrooms.

Recycling and Environmental Education Centre, Baloo Avenue, Bangor

Provision of full Mechanical and Electrical services for the new Environmental Education Centre to replace and double the capacity of the current Rathgael site. The site will provide facilities to recycle glass bottles and jars, drinks cans, newspapers and magazines, textiles, plastic bottles, garden waste, waste engine oil, cooking oil, scrap metal, fridges, freezers, paint, timber, televisions and computer monitors, fluorescent tubes, car batteries and household batteries.
The design includes renewable energy sources, such as solar hot water panels.
